4. Registration fee

ICOM2027 is "the 22nd InternationalCongress of Oriental Medicine."
JCOM2027 is "the 77th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Oriental Medicine."

Participants in ICOM2027 also pay the registration fee for the concurrently held JCOM2027 and attend all programs.

Participants who are not members of the Japan Society of Oriental Medicine should register for both ICOM2027 and JCOM2027 on this site.

Members of the Japan Society of Oriental Medicine should register for ICOM2027 on this site, while registration for JCOM2027 is to be completed on a separate site.

The secretariat office of ICOM2027 does not collect the registration and Banquet fee for JCOM2027 from the member of Japanese Society of Oriental medicine.

Therefore, to attend JCOM2027, please register your name and abstract on the webpage of JCOM2027.

Registration desk will NOT open on June 4. 2027.
Please register your name and pay the registration fee on this web,
and show the receipt at the Information desk in the Congress Hall.
Then, the staff will give you the participant certificate for you.



5. General language

Please talk and discuss in English.

Important Notice for making slides and posters

All slides and posters should be made by English. However, when you use traditional terms including the name of crude drugs (herbal medicines), formulas, diagnosis, or physiology, etc. in Oriental Medicine, please use English or alphabetical terms ACCOMPANIED WITH (漢字, 汉字, Chinese or Japanese characters) in blanke.

Ex.
Kidney deficiency (腎虚/肾虚)
Tokishakuyakusan/Dangguishaoyaosan/ Danggwijagyagsan (当帰芍薬散/當歸芍藥散/当归芍药散).

It may be helpful for international communication in our society.

6. Program and Abstract book

We will not make Program and Abstract Book paper version.
Please download PDF version from our Web site.
We will upload PDF version of Program and Abstract Book before May 24, 2027.

7. General Information for Poster Presenters

 

Each poster presenter will be provided with a surface on which to mount the poster. Each poster must be within 1800 mm height and 800 mm width.

Please drop your poster number at the upper left area (about 15 cm x 15 cm).

Supplies to hang posters will be available to you onsite (push pins).
All posters will be set up in the lobby area around International Congress Romm, the main hall.

Set-Up: Each poster can be set up any time from 8:30 to 10:00 on June 4, and kept it. You can remove posters after 13:00 on June 6.
Note: If you do not remove your poster after 15:00 on June 6, your poster will be discarded.

 

There will be 5 min talk in Poster Session in 17:10 - 18:10 on June 4.
Presenters MUST stand in front of their posters during scheduled Poster session to discuss with the participants and the chairpersons.

During the remaining time, please feel free to interact with the participants in front of your poster.



8. General Information for Oral Presenters

On June 6, from 9 am to 10:20, the Organizing Committee invites 8 general oral presentation for each 10 min (7 min presentation and 3 min discussion).

Participants wishing to give an oral presentation as a general session can choose this this system.

However, as there are only eight available slots, the Executive Committee will select the eight presentations when the number of submissions exceed this limit.

Please note that if your presentation is not selected for one of the eight oral presentation slots, it will automatically be transferred to a poster presentation.

The presenters can prepare Abstracts in the way of General Poster Presentation, and choose Oral presentation in the Registration.

Organizing Committee will prepare note-type PC computer installed with Windows 11 and PowerPoint 2022 that are connecting to digital projector to conduct the presentation.

If you would like to use our computer, please bring PowerPoint data in USB memory at the congress.

You can connect to our digital projector via HDMI connector.

At least 30 mim before your presentation (in rest hours), please check-in at the operation desk near the stage in conference room.


9. Best Presentation Awards

First authors under the age of 45 may enter the competition for the Best Presentation Award when registering their abstracts.

The Best Poster Presentation Award will be announced at the venue on June 4 at 18:20.

The Best Oral Presentation Award will be announced at the venue on June 6 at 12:00

The recipients of the Best Presentation Award will be honored at the closing ceremony, at 12:20 on June 6.


10. General Information for Invited Oral Presenters

The invited presenters can prepare Abstracts in the way of General Poster Presentation aside from the page limit of 2 pages, and choose Invited Speaker in the Registration.

Organizing Committee will prepare note-type PC computer installed with Windows 11 and PowerPoint 2022 that are connecting to digital projector to conduct the presentation.

If you would like to use our computer, please bring PowerPoint data in USB memory at the congress.

You can connect to our digital projector via HDMI connector.

At least 1 hr before your presentation (in rest hours), please check-in at the operation desk near the stage in conference room.
